Aeroméxico, Delta Introduce Daily Mexico City-Phoenix Flights

Aeroméxico and Delta Air Lines have announced the addition of a new daily flight connecting Mexico City and Phoenix, Arizona, starting on Mar. 30, 2025. This route will be operated by Aeroméxico using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, providing over 2,300 weekly round-trip seats.

“Phoenix is a key market for both business and leisure travelers, and we are excited to welcome Aeroméxico back to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport,” said Kate Gallego, Mayor, Phoenix.

According to Gallego, demand for flights from Phoenix to Mexico has grown by 155% compared to pre-pandemic levels. This new nonstop service will enhance travel options and boost tourism and trade between the two regions.

In 2024, the Aeroméxico-Delta partnership launched 28 new routes connecting key cities in Mexico and the United States.

Jeff Morgan, Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Scheduling, Aeroméxico, commented: “This partnership strengthens Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines as the leading carriers between Mexico and the United States. By the end of the year, we will operate 80 routes with more than 135 daily flights between the two countries. Phoenix is a great addition to our expansion, as it is a key destination for both business and leisure.”
