Q: How has Jetlog established itself in the multiple industries it operates in?

A: We have a dedicated team committed to staying informed about global and local events, both in Mexico and worldwide. This allows us to strategically develop business niches in different regions of the country, taking into account existing public policies. We make every effort to understand the needs of the local market and tailor our products and services accordingly.

An example of our approach is a project that is underway in the state of Tamaulipas, where we are diligently analyzing accessible information and collaborating with strategic partners to drive the continued development of the state, considering Tamaulipas' impressive aeronautical infrastructure, encompassing airports in Ciudad Victoria, Tampico, Matamoros, Nuevo Laredo and Reynosa.

Q: How has Jetlog evolved?

A: Jetlog is a relatively young company. When we established the business three years ago, the pandemic struck, which complicated matters significantly. However, it also presented us with numerous opportunities. The evolution of Jetlog has primarily been in our philosophical approach. Today, we acknowledge that we are subject to a supply chain that can be disrupted at any moment. Jetlog has successfully thrived by utilizing new tools to tailor solutions specifically for our clients. We thoroughly study our clients' needs and can identify some that they may not even be aware of, thus enabling them to develop their businesses further. Our pursuit revolves around fair business practices that foster development and benefit individuals.

Q: What are the main challenges that the Mexican aerospace industry is facing?

A: The primary objective is to consolidate existing assets. For instance, there is extensive infrastructure across the entire country, comprising nearly 60 airports, as well as a significant number of airstrips. However, the key challenges to address revolve around enhancing interconnectivity. Our goal is for the industry to overcome these hurdles by implementing various regional schemes that facilitate the direct interconnection of important cities, thereby bypassing the current reliance on major airports. This necessitates a paradigm shift in the industry’s approach. Currently, there are nine major hubs that specialize in manufacturing various aircraft components. It is crucial to secure the necessary support that enables further investment and continued contributions to local development, which are substantial.

Q: What strategies does your organization employ to expand its client base?

A: We are not implementing marketing strategies. Instead, we support various representatives through our strategic partners to gradually penetrate the market. In the near future, we are planning to establish Jetlog Golfo, which will cater to the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco and even Campeche. The goal is to foster business relationships with the local community. This has been the approach our company has adopted throughout its three years of existence. Our focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction, so that our clients themselves become our advocates and recommend our services.

Q: What opportunities for growth have you identified?

A: New needs will continuously emerge. For example, we have recently introduced a product designed for degreasing aircraft components. This product is undergoing a thorough evaluation, as it requires validation from the aircraft manufacturer. Due to the stringent regulations in the aviation industry, which prioritize safety, we have actively guided the product manufacturer to ensure alignment with international standards.

Q: What specific areas will Jetlog Group prioritize in the near term?

A: We are well-equipped to face the uncertainties in different markets. I believe that a number of diverse markets are on the verge of recovery, albeit at varying levels, considering the significant factor of inflation as a key constraint. It is advantageous that the value of the US dollar is declining, even though US consumption patterns have shifted. In the midst of these dynamics, our steadfast focus remains on being a business that continuously contributes to the development of communities through our strategic clients and partners.

Jetlog Group is a conglomerate of companies dedicated to business development in different areas of expertise, including consulting, aviation, commerce and energy.
