Executive Perspectives

New Development a Testament to Mexican Supply Chain Potential

The introduction of HIPing, a thermo-mechanical process used to improve density in metals and ceramics, to the Mexican market shows the potential of a vertically integrated supply chain. But challenges continue, writes Luis Carlos Ramírez Lopez, President, Chihuahua Aerospace Cluster. Despite the challenges, Mexico has recovered its first place global ranking as the main exporter to the US, representing 15.2% of US imports with a bilateral value of US$63.9 billion.

Is the World Moving Forward or Backward?

“The new year is starting to feel like 2022,” writes Roberto Corral Cazares, President, Innocentro. While there is a plethora of negative conditions, there are still opportunities. Meanwhile, “the aerospace industry in this entire scenario is positioned to experience the most fantastic growth cycle since 2005.”
