Q: How do Aeroumbral’s solutions provide airlines, MROs and aircraft leasing companies with the best service in the market?

A: Aeroumbral is a Mexican company certified under ISO 9000-1 2015 standards. Our certifications enable us to provide internationally-approved services and deliver quality spare parts. Aeroumbral is an aircraft parts supplier and repair manager for all rotable parts that aviation companies require to keep their fleets operating.

Aeroumbral provides quality services thanks to our over 20 years of experience within the industry, in addition to a specialized team that offers a human approach. We cover all of our clients’ needs, minimizing maintenance costs and improving response times through our comprehensive guarantees. Aeroumbral works with any type of aircraft, within the general, commercial and military aviation industries. We listen to clients and understand their needs. Aeroumbral offers comprehensive solutions for aircraft maintenance and airworthiness through MROs.

Q: What does Aeroumbral’s service portfolio look like?

A: Aeroumbral focuses on different areas of aeronautical maintenance, including rotable parts and consumables. Through our suppliers and business alliances, we provide any rotable part or consumable that customers require. Our international agreements with different suppliers allow us to transfer these volume costs to our end users, offering tangible economic benefits.

In addition, we work in the administration of repairs of aeronautical components. Thanks to our alliances and global presence, Aeroumbral can offer access to specialist workshops to repair different systems, including hydraulics, engines and landing gears. Finally, we also specialize in the sale and lease of engines and aircraft, managing direct sales, leases per flight hour or pure leasing. Aeroumbral always adapts to the needs of the client, taking into account their suggestions and needs.

Q: How does Aeroumbral’s logistics solutions provide added value to clients?

A: Logistics play an essential role within this sector. Alongside the client, Aeroumbral determines what is wrong with their equipment. We then transport it to a specialized workshop for repair or maintenance, coordinating its collection and taking full care of transportation and logistics, including customs. Finally, we coordinate its return. Through our comprehensive service and international trade expertise, customers avoid logistics problems.

Q: Why did the company decide to establish its operations in Queretaro?

A: Queretaro has a strategic location and the north of the city has several industrial spaces. In addition, it is close to Mexico City and other strategic areas. Queretaro is arguably the most important aeronautical hub in Mexico. The state has established itself as a key location for the sector, with the presence of key companies and a solid academic offer.

Q: How does Aeroumbral leverage being a member of the Queretaro Aerocluster?

A: Aeroumbral has been a member of the Queretaro Aerocluster since 2020. The cluster helps us offer our services and to participate actively in the state’s aeronautical industry. We have a close relationship with suppliers, schools and the state’s aeronautical community. Collaboration and alliances contribute to the economy of Queretaro. Our membership has allowed us to strengthen both our brand and our service portfolio.

Q: How did Aeroumbral’s operations recover in 2022?

A: As the aeronautical and tourism sectors paused operations due to the pandemic, maintenance stopped as well. During 2022, air tourism resumed and with it, maintenance operations. Given the existing large demand for flights, airplanes have required maintenance more frequently. On the other hand, we hope that Mexico’s airspace safety rating returns to Category 1 soon so new routes can be opened and the country’s industry can continue to grow.

Q: What are Aeroumbral’s main plans and strategies for 2023?

A: Aeroumbral seeks to expand into Central and South America in 2023. We have a program of visits and certifications with clients from those regions to grow our client and services portfolio and become a benchmark in Latin America. Our goal for 1H23 is to become strategic suppliers to certain clients and then consolidate these relationships throughout the year. We will continue to provide value-added services, thanking our customers for their loyalty and continuing to grow together.
