Oliver Wyman, ALTA Join Efforts in Air Transport Recovery

The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announced a recent partnership with Oliver Wyman to further impulse air transport recovery in Latin America.

“The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) is pleased to announce Oliver Wyman as its newest member. As a global strategic consultant, Oliver Wyman brings to the 130-member association a unique perspective on the trends that will shape the global airline industry for decades to come,” reads ALTA’s news release.

Oliver Wyman will provide ALTA with strategic global intelligence, which will allow the association to give better services. The company has presence in 30 countries with over 5,500 professionals in 70 different cities. The New York-based management consulting firm specializes in airlines, aerospace, defense, logistics, rail, automotive, energy, natural resources, chemicals, health and life sciences, telecommunications, consumer goods, retail, educational, financial services, private capital and public and political sectors.

ALTA will use Oliver Wyman’s expertise to optimize its business model and operations to present better performance results while managing the disruptive scenarios and global trends that severely affected the aerospace industry in the last couple of years. The partnership will seek to improve the aerospace sector in Latin America as well by aiding airlines in the region that are undergoing complex crises.
