Q: What benefits did the merger between Wesco Aircraft and Pattonair bring clients and what are the objectives of working under the Incora name?

A: The merger was a crucial step to generate diversified supply chain management solutions for world-leading OEMs and subcontractors. Incora aims to be a leading supplier of innovative solutions with a strong foundation in the aerospace and defense markets. The company also serves the industrial manufacturing, marine and pharmaceutical sectors. We manage all aspects of our client’s supply chain, from procurement and warehouse management to logistics and customer service.

The merger gives Incora access to over 60 locations around the world. Our company now has over 8,000 customers and more than 7,000 suppliers, so we reduce complexity and increase reliability so that our customers can deliver mission-critical solutions that improve our world.

Q: Why did Incora choose Chihuahua for its operations in Mexico?

A: Incora has been in Mexico since 2006 with a sales representative who supported the aerospace industry in Chihuahua under the name Wesco Aircraft. In 2012, it began providing Forward Stock Location (FSL) services to a helicopter manufacturing facility in Chihuahua and on-site support to Bombardier in Queretaro. In 2017, Wesco Aircraft merged with Pattonair to become Incora.

Chihuahua has strong automotive and aerospace industries and represents one of the top aerospace clusters in Mexico. The state is also the largest employer for the export industry and offers key incentives, a strong legal framework and patent protections for companies.

Q: As companies optimize operations and reduce costs, how has Incora innovated to support clients from the logistics and supply chain side?

A: Businesses and customers worldwide demand quick responses, cost reductions and embedded services from suppliers. Incora has implemented advanced forecasting and inventory management services that incorporate technology and process discipline. We also have a Secure Access Mobile Vending program and a Total Chemical Management solution. The latter is a web-based system that provides a chemical life cycle management platform ideal for highly regulated industries that require continuous improvement in compliance.

Incora provides customers just-in-time management, vendor inventory management, vending services, and 3PL and 4PL services. We are a supplier that provides end-to-end customer solutions.

Incora is a leader in 4PL. 3PL is most suitable for small and medium-sized businesses’ daily operations. 4PL is a service targeted to medium and large businesses that provides optimization and integration. Incora provides comprehensive supply chain management services that are fully customizable to the business needs of our clients.

Q: What role can Incora play in the development of the local aerospace supply chain to ensure companies meet its strict supply requirements?

A: Incora aims to generate supply chain simplicity. We are a single point of contact for the entire supply chain. We cover inventory, supplier accountability, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Additionally, we help reduce inventory burden because we own the

inventory, which will reduce financial risks and free up capital for our customers. We use software that enhances demand forecasts through automatic order placement and tracking.

Incora works with Chihuahua’s aerospace cluster, and through them works with Federacion Mexicana de la Industria Aerospacial (FEMIA) and other clusters in the country. Through FEMIA, companies can exchange best practices to avoid making mistakes repeatedly and develop joint strategies. FEMIA also has up-to-date information regarding the country’s aerospace capabilities, which can be useful to OEMs.

Q: What benefits and differentiators do customers receive through their relationship with Incora?

A: Our goal is to prevent delays in the customers’ assembly lines through inventory reduction and accurate inventory information. This has made Incora a leader in supply chain management.

We have learned from our experiences around the world through our service centers in Poland, Malaysia, and Mexico. We communicate frequently and exchange best practices to better assist customers.

Q: How have data-driven operations benefited both manufacturing and MRO operations?

A: Companies now need to have clear data and take advantage of their technology and equipment to perform data-driven operations. MROs can use and incorporate data analysis in their daily decision-making. By using data, companies can avoid poor-performing chips, recurring equipment downtime or production bottlenecks to reduce their operating costs. They can find the real root causes of a problem and solve it. Incora uses advanced data science and machine learning to improve forecasting, which optimizes inventory and provides just-in-time supply to our customers’ operations.

Incora™, a leading global provider of innovative supply chain solutions, manages all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and warehouse management to logistics and on-site customer services.
