The third Mexican Aerospace Fair (FAMEX) is now scheduled to take place at the Queretaro International Airport from April 21 to 24, 2021, with the US as the guest country of honor. FAMEX will seek to position itself as the most important aerospace fair in Latin America. According to FAMEX´s President General Rodolfo Rodríguez Quezada, the location has already been approved by the Ministry of Defense and the Queretaro government.

The first edition of FAMEX took place in 2015, hosting 240 exhibitors. The second edition hosted 505 exhibitors, considered at that time the second most important of its kind in Latin America. This third edition is expected to host at least 635 exhibitors.

The Aerospace University of Queretaro will play a significant role in exhibiting educational programs within the industry. It will also host a summit of university principals looking to grow their respective aerospace programs.
