Viva Aerobus Expands US and Domestic Routes

Viva Aerobus has announced an expansion of its domestic and international routes as part of its 2024 growth strategy. The airline will introduce new routes between Mexico and the United States, starting in November and December of this year.

The airline will enhance its operations by adding flights from Monterrey to Ciudad Obregon, Los Mochis, Oakland, Chicago, Oaxaca, Mexicali, San Antonio, and Queretaro. 

“Today, Monterrey is more connected than ever, boosting its competitiveness and economic and tourism development,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO, Viva Aerobus. “In our 17 years of flying from here, we have enhanced connectivity and competitiveness. As we receive more aircraft, we will continue to grow and strengthen our leadership in the city.” This expansion is aimed at strengthening the connectivity and economic development of Monterrey and Guadalajara, according to Zuazua.

Additionally, Viva Aerobus will introduce flights from Guadalajara to Oakland, Dallas, Las Vegas, and San Antonio, as well as to Mexicali, Ciudad Obregon, Puerto Escondido, and Torreon.

“We are excited to launch eight new international and domestic routes from Guadalajara. These include four to the United States, enhancing Jalisco’s international connectivity. We see great potential in these routes and opportunities in key airports in the western part of the country”, Zuazua added.
