Q: How does AVSHMEIP add value to the automotive industry as a software distributor?

A: We supply 3D software, which we have been distributing since 1998. With all these years of experience, we were able to introduce the software to the market and have gained the certifications necessary to offer clients a quality service. From sales to technical support and training, we are always aware of what our clients need. If they face a problem in any part of the process, we are available to advise them on any additional module that can help them complete their process. The key to maintaining a good relationship with clients is attention to their needs and addressing their doubts.

In the automotive industry, we have the experience and technology to reverse engineer parts of any size and material. We offer personalized services to customers, and we can offer these within our facilities or those of our clients.

We have always offered only what we are capable of delivering. Being professional and transparent in terms of what we can offer our clients is key to remaining relevant in the market.

Q: What have been AVSHMEIP’s milestones in the automotive sector?

A: We have been in the market for more than 20 years. This means that the company has weathered crises and overcome obstacles. When we started, it was a very difficult time because 3D services were not yet well-known in the country. It was a long and hard process in which we had to evangelize among many people to make them see the benefits of this tool.

Since then, the market has become more competitive but we have formed a profitable and stable company. We have worked to keep all our staff despite the difficulties and we have succeeded. During this latest crisis, we have not fired anyone and all our collaborators are receiving their salaries in full.

Q: How have AVSHMEIP and its clients been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic?

A: Even before the health crisis began, our support services were mostly online. However, training courses were face-to-face. When COVID-19 began to expand, customers were no longer letting us visit their plants and soon after, the government ordered operations to stop. Given this situation, we decided to deliver the courses online in real time. Fortunately, these have been very successful and we plan to continue them even after the pandemic ends.

Likewise, as a result of this crisis, we also saw the opportunity to improve our internal processes and we have sought to implement different software to improve communication among all AVSHMEIP staff and its clients. We have now adopted an ERP that allows for integration of certain operations within the company, especially those that have to do with production, logistics, inventory, shipping and accounting.

We believe that despite the challenges that the pandemic has created for companies, COVID-19 has helped to open our eyes to innovation to remain in the market. We are confident that once the lockdown measures are lifted, activity will resume with greater speed.
