BorgWarner reported net sales of US$3.59 billion in 3Q25, up 4.1% year-over-year, and exceeded analyst expectations with adjusted earnings of US$1.24 per share versus the projected US$1.16 per share. The company also revised its full-year revenue guidance to a range of US$14.1–14.3 billion, reflecting robust demand for turbochargers and efficient powertrains despite US tariff pressures.

“The demand for turbochargers and high-performance powertrains remains strong,” BorgWarner noted, highlighting that its efficiency strategies and multiregional operations helped sustain performance under challenging conditions.

BorgWarner is accelerating local sourcing through partnerships with Mexican suppliers. On July 22, 2025, the company hosted Supplier Day 2025 in Irapuato, Guanajuato, in collaboration with Cluster Industrial, connecting over 30 national suppliers with global and local purchasing teams. A strategic sourcing analysis evaluated 496 companies, identifying 62 with high technical and commercial potential.

“Finding a match between our needs and what local suppliers can offer is now more important than ever,” said Will Bisbikis, Global Commodity DMS Director, BorgWarner. Olaf Ramírez, Purchasing Manager DMS Irapuato, added, “We see a strong opportunity to develop suppliers in the country. The Cluster Industrial analysis was objective and satisfactory. We plan to replicate it at other group plants.” Discussions also covered USMCA compliance, US tariffs, and the importance of authentic regional content.
