Grupo TAB Expands Portfolio with Mercedes-Benz Buses

Grupo TAB, a prominent distributor of Daimler brands, is expanding its operations with the introduction of Mercedes-Benz buses at its Toluca branch. This addition will enhance the company's service capabilities by adding 15 dedicated service bays for buses, bringing the total to 40 bays for trucks, tractor-trailers, and buses. The expansion, covering approximately 4,000 square meters, is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.

“We want to provide our customers with comprehensive mobility solutions supported by personalized services and financial backing from Daimler Truck Financial Services,” said Daniela Bastida, General Director, Grupo TAB, in an interview with T21.

Grupo TAB has been a distributor for over 26 years. Bastida highlighted the new facility's features, which include an exhibition area, a service workshop, and a dedicated operator lounge designed to enhance the customer experience.

This location will be the third within Grupo TAB to offer Mercedes-Benz buses. Additionally, Grupo TAB plans to boost its service capabilities outside the facility by introducing mobile workshops, rescue vehicles, and a team of technicians. An investment exceeding MX$25 million has been made in spare parts to meet immediate client needs.

Grupo TAB plans to place 50 more units at the Toluca dealership by year-end, aligning with the company's growth objectives. “We see a significant need for support in vehicle fleets, which presents a great opportunity for growth,” Bastida concluded.
