Taking into account lockdown conditions set by the health emergency, Nissan renewed its approach to debut its new Sentra 2020, the fifth generation of one of Nissan's best-selling models in the country.

"If we launch new models, take care of our customers, improve our dealerships, train our salesforce and offer a competitive price, I have no doubt that we will reach our mark and go beyond it. Our true objective is continuous improvement, which requires attention to different variables," said the President of Nissan Mexicana, José Roman.

The special pre-sale started on June 3 and will last until June 24 with a down-payment of MX$5,000 (US$228). The special offer includes 2 years of cost-free maintenance, an additional MX$10,000 (US$456) value in exchange for an older model and an accessory kit. To participate in the pre-sale of Sentra 2020, buyers must go to Nissan’s official website, register their information and then proceed to make the down-payment.

Last year, Nissan presented the new generation of its Versa model. The upcoming Sentra is the new member of the company's renewed line-up. The new Sentra will be produced at the company's plant in Aguascalientes and will be exported to 28 countries in North America, Latin America and the Middle-East. There will be seven versions of the Nissan Sentra, all of them under Nissan's Intelligent Mobility strategy.

"The arrival of the new Nissan Sentra 2020 represents a key moment for the company as it will strengthen the brand's value on sedan portfolio through its competitive advantages: safety and intervention technologies, renewed design and an exceptional driving experience," said Rodrigo Centeno, Senior Marketing Director of Nissan Mexicana.

Just this Monday, Nissan Mexico was the first branch of the company in North America to restart operations after more than two months. "I am very proud of the excitement and commitment of our collaborators. The level of excellence that characterizes our vehicle production is now being reflected in the effort, actions and teamwork during this contingency," said Armando Ávila, Manufacturing Vice President of Nissan México.
