OMODA & JAECOO Hit 28,023 July Sales, Top 600,000 Globally
In July 2025, OMODA & JAECOO achieved sales of 28,023 units, reflecting a 38.8% increase year-on-year and a 3.8% gain over June. With this milestone, the brand has surpassed 600,000 cumulative global sales in just 27 months, highlighting its accelerated growth trajectory since entering the market.
“This achievement demonstrates not only the continuous strengthening of our brand and products, but also our ambition to become a global leader in the super-hybrid segment,” OMODA & JAECOO stated.
The company’s growth strategy is rooted in the philosophy ‘Born Global, Born Green,’ with a strong focus on sustainability. In under three years, OMODA & JAECOO has entered 44 international markets, expanded its footprint in Europe, and advanced localized operations. “We are moving from globalization to local integration,” the company noted, citing production facilities and R&D centers in Europe that enable closer coordination between design, engineering, and sales.
Technologically, OMODA & JAECOO prioritizes hybrid and new energy solutions. Its powertrain portfolio now includes internal combustion engines, hybrids, battery-electric models, and range-extended systems, designed to adapt to diverse mobility scenarios and user needs worldwide.
In quality control, the company remains committed to stringent global standards. The JAECOO 7 SHS earned a five-star ANCAP safety rating, while the new JAECOO 5’s seating system received TÜV Rheinland certification. “For us, quality takes precedence over volume,” the company affirmed.
Chery Group, the parent company, reported US$59.7 billion in revenue, securing the 233rd position on the 2025 Fortune Global 500 list, up 152 places from last year. Chery is now the fastest-growing automaker on the list, with accumulated exports exceeding 5 million units, making it the first Chinese carmaker to achieve this milestone.
