Intel continues to push boundaries with technological solutions for the automotive industry combining omnipresent computation, generalized connectivity, cloud technology and artificial intelligence. Vehicles today are made up of just over four percent of semiconductors. However, Intel predicts that this figure will climb to over 20 percent by the year 2025 which will bring along an entire new line of AI products, such as Mobileye which debuted with autonomous driven vehicles such as the Moovit, the first AI controlled robotaxi which debuted in Germany. These technologies are expected to have a positive impact in difficult to drive countries, such as India, which accounts for over 11 percent of all worldwide highway fatalities.
