Proveedor Automotriz to Celebrate Its 13th Edition

Nuevo Leon is about to host one of the biggest automotive events in Mexico: Proveedor Automotriz 2023. According to organizers, the event is expected to host over 1,500 participants. 

Proveedor Automotriz is organized by the Nuevo Leon Automotive Cluster (CLAUT), along with Nuevo Leon's Ministry of Economy. In its 2023 edition, the event hopes to receive over 1,500 decision-makers from thacross the industry's supply chain. The event is scheduled for June 6 and 7, 2023, and is planned to be held at Monterrey's CINTERMEX. The event is also open to the public virtually.

Proveedor Automotriz  started in 2013 as a way to promote the national integration of the automotive supply chain. The event promises to gather more than 90 Tier 1s and OEMs, as well as more than 300 Tier N suppliers. 

Organizers expect to strengthen the capabilities of the national automotive industry. According to the Provedor Automotriz 2022 data, the event resulted in 723 business meetings, of which 64.3% resulted in requests for quotations and 9.7% in purchase orders. 

The event will feature exhibits and conferences from key players from all sectors of the industry, focused on topics that will drive automotive trends in the mid and long-term. Among other important subjects, Nazareth Black, CEO of Zacua Mexico, will talk about electromobility; Manuel Montoya, Director, CLAUT and Francisco González, President, INA, will discuss the current conditions of the automotive sector, while Ena Gutiérrez, Business Development Manager, Enlight, will discuss renewable energy solutions. 

At the time of writing, important buyers confirmed their attendance, among them Nidec, Polaris, Caterpillar, DAIMLER, Volkswagen, Continental, Foxconn, Mazda and Kawazaki, among other important buyers.
