Retail Fashion Group Expands in Jalisco with Five New Brands
Retail Fashion Group, a subsidiary of Grupo Sordo Madaleno (SOMA), is expanding its presence in western Mexico by launching five new fashion and luxury brands in Guadalajara. The company announced that Maje, Sandro, Alo Yoga, AllSaints, and Zadig & Voltaire will open standalone stores in Andares, the premier shopping center in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.
Currently, Maje and Sandro, sister brands under the SMCP group, have monobrand stores in Mexico City and Monterrey, with Sandro also having a location in Puebla. Both brands are also available through El Palacio de Hierro.
Alo Yoga has three stores in Mexico, two in Mexico City and one in Monterrey. Zadig & Voltaire, which debuted in Mexico in late 2023, has one store in southern Mexico City. AllSaints operates six monobrand stores and is present in eight El Palacio de Hierro locations nationwide. Retail Fashion Group's portfolio also includes The Style Rack, Brownie, Claudie Pierlot, Scalpers, and El Ganso, among others.
Another luxury brand expanding its reach in Mexico is Louis Vuitton, with a pop-up store in El Palacio de Hierro. This store will be available until Jun. 26, offering a range of accessories for men and women, along with some of its latest runway collections.
In November, Louis Vuitton played a prominent role in the opening of El Palacio de los Palacios, the most luxurious branch of the department store in Mexico City. As part of its focus on Latin America, Louis Vuitton will present its third cruise collection on May 28 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquière.
