JA Solar signed a strategic distribution agreement with Exel Solar for 260MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules in Mexico. Announced during RE+ México 2025, the agreement strengthens JA Solar’s presence in Latin America and supports the region’s transition to cleaner energy sources.

Under the agreement, JA Solar will supply its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules, which incorporate TOPCon N-type technology designed to improve efficiency and durability. These modules perform well in high temperatures and low irradiation conditions, making them suitable for Mexico’s diverse climates.

Exel Solar will distribute the modules across Mexico, targeting residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The company’s distribution network and market expertise are expected to accelerate solar adoption nationwide.

JA Solar views Mexico and Latin America as key markets for expansion. Aiqing Yang, the company’s executive president, said the collaboration with Exel Solar is a significant step toward supporting renewable energy adoption and optimizing returns for solar investors.

JA Solar continues to invest in clean energy solutions in Mexico and the broader region, focusing on technology advancements and partnerships to strengthen energy security and promote long-term sustainability.
