During COVID-19 times, companies are beginning to alter their production with the hopes of aiding world governments to contain the spread of the virus.  Governments do not have the ability to provide enough to satisfy the demand of certain products or treatments for its citizens. As a result, companies across the world, belonging to a wide diversity of sectors, are modifying their production lines  temporarily (taking advantage of quarantine shutdowns) to contribute and help the world fight this crisis.

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the company is designing and producing face masks for medical workers. It also plans to produce 1 million masks per week, besides the 20 million N95 masks that they have already been donated.  Microsoft, has decided to create a COVID-19 Response Fund to address the emerging community needs. Amazon will donate US$5 million to help local businesses and Google will release location data in more than 100 countries to help health officials and governments make informed decisions regarding the virus. Each company is taking the necessary steps within their possibilities to protect their workers and stop the spread of the virus. These are just some examples of how the tech giants are working towards the same goal: to help and protect the world.
