Banxico Unveils Dimo App Website, Hits 11 Million Users
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) has launched a dedicated website for its Dimo application, which has now reached 11 million users. The platform is designed to enable fast and secure money transfers using mobile phone numbers.
Dimo allows users to send and receive money by linking the service to their deposit accounts through their financial institution's app. Both the sender and recipient must have Dimo activated on their accounts to complete transactions. The platform is part of Banxico’s broader efforts to offer accessible, efficient, and secure payment methods for the public.
