Preventive data offers a clear alternative: predict before paying, intervene before hospitalization, and model risk based on the insured’s real behavior.
Insurtech companies such as Alan (France) and Oscar (US) have demonstrated how real-time health data integration can personalize coverage, accelerate primary care, and even anticipate health crises before they turn into costly claims. Their models show significant reductions in administrative burden and measurable improvements in preventive engagement.
Agentic Automation: The Infrastructure Behind Predictive Insurance
Collecting data is not enough; the system must be able to process it and act on it. This is where agentic automation becomes essential — a concept widely explored in the report, "The State of Automation in Insurance 2025," by Ui Path.
This approach surpasses traditional automation by enabling systems that not only execute tasks but learn, make decisions, and self-adjust.
