Ualá ABC announces a new functionality for paying bills and buying airtime without commissions, immediately and without leaving home. The company has been gradually adapting its financial services to the Mexican market and introducing new functionalities tailored to the country.

"Aiming to improve and simplify the user experience and the management of personal finances, the app launched a new feature that will allow users to pay their electricity, water and gas bills, buy cell phone airtime and pay for other services directly from their mobile application," stated the company in its press release.

Users will be able to use the new functionality by entering the payment reference number and the amount they are going to pay for their services. The new service offers flexibility, meaning the user can do a transaction wherever they are, quickly, securely, simply and at no extra cost. Similarly, to recharge airtime, it will only be necessary to select the option within the application and enter the cell phone number, removing the need to connect to a computer or to stand in long lines to pay bills. Users can now pay them from anywhere, 24 hours a day through a cell phone with internet access.

With this announcement, Ualá and ABC Capital strengthened the products of the financial ecosystem of its application, which recently incorporated the personal loan product available to all people over 18 years of age in the country. This alternative is added to the functionalities already available in the app, such as the possibility of receiving money from abroad, making transfers and freezing cards.

Since its launch, Ualá has been strengthening its product ecosystem to provide more and better options to its user community. "Ualá was born to revolutionize finance in the region, making it more modern, more transparent and more inclusive. Creating a regional company that employs over 1,500 people with more than 5 million users in Latin America is a dream... Our next five years will be much more ambitious," said Pierpaolo Barbieri, Founder and CEO, Ualá, in a press release.

Within the financial solutions market, it has become increasingly important to provide a 360° service, meaning that the user can carry out any type of activity that requires money within the app. This service has become a differentiator within the industry. To date, Ualá and Mercado Pago have incorporated this modality into their platforms.
