Diplomacy, Solidarity Stand Against Worst Global Pandemic

Mexico’s diplomatic efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic have secured vaccines and strengthened the public healthcare sector. Since March 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has worked with public and private institutions to guarantee donations from other countries to ensure Mexico had the necessary means to face the COVID-19 crisis. On Sept. 8, Martha Delgado Peralta, Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussed the Ministry’s achievements during Mexico Health Summit ECHO 2021.
