On Day 2 of Mexico Health Summit 2021, our panelists discussed what lessons they have learnt from the pandemic and how they are crucial to addressing its impact, while strengthening the industry for future challenges. The panel was moderated by Graciela Teruel, Director of EQUIDE at Universidad Iberoamericana. Industry leaders including Sonia Pérez, Bertha Mancilla, Director of the Immuno-Oncology Business Unit of Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) Mexico and Jorge Valdez, Dean of TecSalud, Executive Director of UDIBI-IPN, spoke about Mexico’s dependence on foreign technology and how the country is lagging behind in R&D.
