LINET Group opens a new office in Mexico City, reinforcing partnerships and expanding access to advanced healthcare infrastructure solutions. From global expertise to local execution, the company is positioning Mexico as a key market for long-term growth, innovation and institutional collaboration.
Czech medical equipment manufacturer LINET inaugurated a new corporate headquarters in Mexico City's Santa Fe business district, marking what company executives described as a strategic commitment to the Mexican healthcare market and the broader Latin American region.
"This headquarters represents more than a physical move; it reflects our long-term investment in Mexico and our intention to strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders,” says Sandro Scomparim, General Director, LINET Mexico.
LINET Group is a world-leading manufacturer of premium hospital and nursing beds known for its innovative design and technology. The original company was founded in the Czech Republic in 1990, and the brand is nowadays present in more than 120 countries. LINET has operated in Mexico for several years, but the relocation to Santa Fe signals a shift in scale and ambition. Scomparim personally oversaw the project from site selection and lease negotiation through design and construction, a level of direct involvement that underscores the significance the company places on its Mexican operation, which it now counts among its primary offices in Latin America.
Thomas Hart, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Mexico, attended the inauguration and drew a direct line between the company's origins and its current international reach, noting that LINET Group stands among the clearest examples of enterprise built on Czech capital and engineering following the country's shift to a free-market economy in the 1990s. "If I were to highlight a few companies built on Czech capital and engineering excellence, LINET would certainly be among them," he said.

"Throughout my 26-year diplomatic career, I have consistently encountered LINET Group in various countries, including Mexico, the United States, and Russia, and in every location the company has served as a strong representative of Czech innovation and professionalism," Hart said.
The new facility in Santa Fe, one of Mexico City's main business corridors, includes a dedicated showroom for product demonstrations and client meetings. The location was selected in part for its proximity to decision-makers across both private and public healthcare networks. LINET Group operates across diverse institutional settings, from large private hospital chains to public health facilities.
Andrés Barrón, Product Specialist, LINET Mexico, says that the new office is part of a broader organizational realignment: "The opening of our new offices in Mexico marks an important step in our broader restructuring strategy, aimed at strengthening both our organizational capabilities and our operational presence in the region."
Looking ahead, LINET Group has outlined a series of product launches and clinical initiatives for 2026. The company will introduce the Essenza product line and expand its offering in specialized care areas, including gynecology and humanized childbirth, a segment where its delivery beds are designed to allow patients to choose their birth position rather than conform to a fixed clinical posture. The company also plans to bring the Essenza 300 Junior Plus to the Mexican market, a universal bed engineered for both pediatric and adult use, with safety features specifically designed to minimize entrapment risk for children.
On the clinical education front, LINET Group intends to sharpen its focus on pressure injury prevention and early mobilization. The company explains that patients can lose up to 2% of muscle mass per day during prolonged bed rest, and that ICU patients may lose as much as 12% of bone density within the first week of hospitalization. Its portfolio is positioned around reducing those outcomes, with bed designs that facilitate lateral repositioning, progressive seated positioning, and assisted standing, steps the company argues can compress rehabilitation timelines and reduce the long-term costs of extended hospitalization.
Over the next five years, the company plans to place "a LINET Group bed in every hospital," says Scomparim. The target is supported by what he describes as a network effect in the company's customer base — hospitals that adopt LINET Group equipment tend to expand across additional product lines and generate referrals among biomedical engineers and nursing leadership, creating retention dynamics that the company believes can sustain consistent market share growth over time, he adds.
