Canoga Opens Private 5G Customer Experience Center in Queretaro
Canoga Perkins, a global provider of Private 5G network connectivity solutions, has launched its first international Private 5G Customer Experience Center at the BLOQUE innovation hub in Queretaro. The company also announced the introduction of SyncMetra, a transport solution designed specifically to guarantee ultra-low latency for next-generation industrial use cases.
"Bringing SyncMetra to Mexico is a major milestone for Canoga Perkins and we are gratified by the overwhelming response from industry leaders here," says Malik Arshad, President, Canoga Perkins. “Deterministic networking removes the barriers to digital transformation for the most critical applications. The Bloque is a venue for furthering technology, innovation and digital entrepreneurship. It is fitting that we are demonstrating that deterministic Private 5G and 5G TSN are no longer future concepts, we take pride in developing leading edge solutions that show that these technologies are ready for deployment today.”
Queretaro is positioning itself as a platform for advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, smart agriculture, and technology-driven logistics applications. As these sectors scale, so does the need for connectivity that is not only fast, but predictable, especially for mission-critical operations where milliseconds matter. Canoga Perkins is betting that deterministic networking will be a core enabler of this next phase of industrial modernization.
This push also lands at a moment when Mexico’s connectivity landscape is evolving rapidly. Beyond enterprise networks, the country is seeing broader telecom changes shaped by policy and investment dynamics, alongside continued 5G growth and fiber expansion.
At the event in Queretaro, the company demonstrated an industrial robotic arm operating over an ultra-low latency Private 5G network supported by SyncMetra, an example meant to show how deterministic connectivity can support industrial automation without the lag risks commonly associated with traditional cellular or Wi-Fi environments. Unlike standard wireless deployments that can suffer from jitter or unpredictable performance under congestion, SyncMetra is purpose-built to support Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), a capability aimed at keeping real-time applications stable and synchronized.
According to the company, the SyncMetra platform emphasizes four core capabilities for industrial environments:
-
Determinism: Guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) for real-time industrial communication
-
Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency (URLLC): Precise packet delivery for mission-critical automation
-
IT-Centric operation: Cloud-managed orchestration through SyncMetra Manager (SMM)
-
Scalable architecture: Designed to extend across large manufacturing floors and multi-site campus environments
The opening of a dedicated Private 5G Customer Experience Center in Queretaro underscores how enterprise connectivity is becoming part of Mexico’s competitiveness toolkit, especially as nearshoring-related manufacturing and high-value production increase the need for dependable automation, real-time control, and edge-enabled applications. In a telecom environment already undergoing structural change at the national level, private networks built for industrial performance are emerging as a practical layer of infrastructure for factories, logistics campuses, and innovation hubs aiming to operate at global standards.
