Fibra Inn, a Mexican real estate investment trust (REIT) specialized in hotel assets, announced the internalization of operations across 28 of its hotels between November 2025 and January 2026. The strategic move marks a new phase of corporate evolution aimed at boosting operational efficiency, financial performance, and long-term value creation for investors.

“This milestone represents the next step in our transformation. In 2017, we successfully internalized Fibra Inn’s administration; now we are doing the same with hotel operations. This will allow us to generate value more effectively, achieve significant efficiencies, and elevate the quality of our guests’ experience,” says Miguel Aliaga, Director of Administration and Finance, Fibra Inn.

The process will allow Fibra Inn to unify hotel management under a fully integrated model. According to the company, this transition strengthens its alignment between day-to-day operations and the trust’s long-term strategic vision.

The transition will cover hotels now operated under both international and national brands. Fibra Inn already operates the Holiday Inn Monterrey Valle and Holiday Inn Puebla La Noria internally, setting the foundation for this broader rollout. The company emphasizes that the process will be led by its experienced operational, administrative, and financial teams to ensure continuity and service excellence.

The internalization process will encompass 28 hotels located in key industrial, business, and tourism destinations across Mexico, representing a total of 4,774 rooms.
