Puebla will seek to improve connectivity with Mexico City, said Governor of Puebla Sergio Salomón during the Forum: The city and transformation, organized by the Mexico City government. Salomón said that Puebla can benefit from previous experiences and support from Mexico City to improve its connectivity.

Salomón met Mayor of Mexico City Claudia Sheinbaum during the forum to outline their plans to improve mobility, while promoting joint work with concessionaires and users. He also highlighted the importance of public policies in creating a positive impact for future generations.

Salomón and Sheinbaum plan to present plans to improve the quality of life for the population of both states. Salomón adds that his administration aims to promote community building, while promoting awareness and launching mobility and development plans to benefit the population of Puebla. He argued that public policies are being promoted to improve environmental conditions, mobility and social coexistence in Puebla. These policies also consider improving the state’s connectivity with Mexico City.

“The call is [for authorities, concessionaires and users] to work together and consciously think about the next generations. Progress in Puebla is a reality and will be consolidated,” says Salomon in a press release by the Government of Puebla.

Salomón highlighted that the Mexico City government has been successful in promoting policies that emphasize the integral well-being of the people, adding that Puebla will learn and work with Mexico City. The exchange of experiences between state governments will allow Puebla to move more quickly in terms of infrastructure connectivity, he adds.
