Second Century Ventures and AMPI formed a strategic partnership to expand PropTech adoption, connect Mexican real estate professionals with global technology providers and support the sector’s digital transformation.

Mexico’s real estate sector is set to expand its access to global property technology following a new partnership between Second Century Ventures (SCV) and the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI). The agreement seeks to accelerate technology adoption, connect Mexican professionals with emerging companies and strengthen innovation across the country’s property market.

SCV, the strategic investment arm of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), will serve as AMPI’s strategic innovation partner. The collaboration will give AMPI members greater access to international PropTech solutions, training programs, market research, and technology assessments designed to address the sector’s evolving needs.

The partnership also builds on the longstanding relationship between AMPI and NAR, supported by cross-border investment, migration, second-home ownership and decades of cooperation between real estate professionals in Mexico and the United States, according to NAR’s announcement.

Connecting Mexican Professionals With Global Technology

A central component of the agreement is AMPI’s connection to REACH, SCV’s real estate technology growth program. Through the network, Mexican real estate professionals will be able to engage with companies developing tools for transaction management, property data, AI, marketing, and other industry applications.

REACH operates programs across the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Latin America, New Zealand, and the Middle East. Over the past decade, the program has supported more than 400 PropTech companies, according to NAR.

The collaboration strengthens the REACH LATAM program, which supports high-growth technology companies operating across Latin America and connects them with established real estate organizations and professionals. Through the agreement, AMPI members are expected to gain access to companies within the REACH portfolio, allowing real estate agencies and professionals to evaluate tools that could improve productivity, property marketing, customer engagement, data analysis, and transaction management.

The partnership will also include educational opportunities, innovation assessments, market research, and benchmarking studies. These initiatives will help identify technology gaps in Mexico’s real estate industry and guide the development or adoption of solutions tailored to local market conditions.

Partnership Targets Long-Term Digital Transformation

Jenny Rivas, National President, AMPI, says the agreement represents a new stage in the association’s relationship with NAR and creates opportunities for members to connect with international technology providers.

“Our longstanding relationship with NAR has strengthened our profession for years, and this partnership with Second Century Ventures marks the next evolution of that collaboration,” Rivas says in the official NAR report. She adds that the organizations seek to help AMPI members adopt innovation, connect with global technology leaders, and participate in shaping the future of Mexico’s real estate industry.

Tyler Thompson, Managing Partner, SCV and REACH, describes Mexico as one of Latin America’s emerging innovation markets. He adds that AMPI could help bring technology developed by entrepreneurs and startups to professionals throughout the country.

The alliance represents a long-term commitment to Mexico’s real estate professionals, says Dave Garland, Managing Partner, SCV. AMPI has worked to professionalize and strengthen the industry for nearly 70 years, providing SCV with an established national organization through which it can expand access to new technologies. AMPI represents thousands of real estate professionals through more than 100 local sections across Mexico.

Technology Gains Ground in Mexico’s Property Market

The agreement comes as digital tools become increasingly important across residential, commercial, and industrial property markets. Real estate professionals are using technology to manage listings, review documentation, analyze market data, communicate with customers, and coordinate transactions involving multiple participants.

Artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transaction platforms are also creating opportunities to reduce administrative workloads and improve access to property information. However, technology adoption remains uneven, particularly among smaller agencies and independent professionals that may lack the resources to assess or implement new systems.

By combining SCV’s international technology network with AMPI’s national reach, the organizations aim to reduce that gap and make innovation more accessible to real estate practitioners across Mexico. The alliance could also strengthen cooperation between Mexico and the United States within one of North America’s most significant cross-border real estate markets. Investment flows, migration, and demand for second homes have created close links between professionals and customers in both countries.

The partnership seeks to ensure that industry professionals not only gain access to emerging technologies but also participate in defining how those tools are adapted to the country’s operational and commercial requirements.
