In the logistics world, trajectories are often measured in miles or in the number of packages delivered. Yet, within this same industry, the stories that truly matter are measured in trust, in relationships, and in the ability to support a nation’s growth. Some stories are not told through figures alone, but through continuity and evolution.

FedEx has now been in Mexico for 35 years. A trajectory spanning more than three decades reflects a well-established operation built alongside companies and entrepreneurs — one that has evolved in step with Mexico’s economy and society.

We arrived in the country under very different circumstances. With just 100 team members, six operational stations, and a single international flight, our challenge went beyond delivering on time — it was also about understanding a country. Routes without names, improvised directions, communities that opened their doors before the map could guide us.

That early stage taught us that to create real impact, it is essential to build long-term relationships. To be more than a service provider. To be a strategic partner.

Three and a half decades later, Mexico is a different country. Today, it is integrated into global trade, with a diverse, digital, and entrepreneurial business ecosystem. FedEx is also a different company—stronger, more connected, and better prepared to support the country’s ambitions and future.

Logistics has been a silent enabler of this transformation, allowing companies of all sizes to access new markets, lowering barriers, and operating with greater certainty in an increasingly competitive environment.

In 2026, we operate with more than 8,000 team members, 3,000 pickup and delivery routes, 83 stations, 500 retail locations, six international air terminals, 45 weekly international flights, and direct coverage across all 32 states. This is complemented by 44 critical inventory warehouses, a National Ground Hub, and a Logistics Center that position Mexico as a strategic node within our global network.

For Everyone

If there is one lesson we have learned over these years in Mexico, it is that we are also drivers of growth.

We have supported thousands of companies and entrepreneurs who are now an essential part of the country’s economic engine. We have witnessed businesses consolidate in international markets; SMEs that embraced digital transformation and multiplied their opportunities; family ventures that found in global logistics a pathway to expand.

In every story, our role has remained the same: to enable movement, broaden possibilities, and provide certainty.

That is why we have established agreements with state governments and the Ministry of Economy, driving SME competitiveness. That is why we invest in infrastructure, connectivity, and innovation. And that is why every new station, each additional route, and every technological improvement is aimed at continuing to strengthen business growth at the local and national levels, while connecting Mexico to the world.

The past year is a clear reflection of this vision. The launch of the Guadalajara–Oakland route expanded connectivity between western Mexico and the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Our social commitment also became more visible through FedEx Cares, including the delivery of 5,180 backpacks to children affected by Hurricane Otis, distribution of medical kits across seven emergency responses, reforestation campaigns, the construction of a bio-intensive garden, support for vulnerable communities, and collaboration with various organizations.

There is no doubt that we are moving toward a Mexico with a more digital, global, and sustainable business ecosystem. And, as in the past 35 years, FedEx will continue to be part of that journey, supporting every step forward with infrastructure, expertise, innovation, and a clear long-term vision.

Because more than operating in Mexico, we have grown alongside it.

This is our home.

35 years in Mexico—and many more to come.
