Q: What are Tive’s main differentiators compared with other companies that track shipment locations, especially as supply chains become more complex and customer needs evolve?

A: Tive’s main differentiator is that our tracking device travels with the merchandise, regardless of the transportation mode, allowing companies to monitor not only location but also the exact condition of their products in real time. While carrier portals focus on transportation status and telematics systems primarily monitor vehicles, fuel consumption, routes, and driving behavior, Tive provides visibility into what is happening with the actual shipment, including temperature changes, shocks, door openings, deviations, stops, and route information. We have also integrated automation and AI into our platform to make this information easier to analyze and help companies move from reactive responses to preventive decision-making.

Q: Tive was founded around the idea of reducing the operational burden of constantly monitoring shipments. How does the company address this challenge for logistics teams?

A: The original vision behind Tive was to eliminate the need for logistics professionals to spend their time constantly calling carriers and resolving shipment issues manually. The story of our CEO and Founder, Krenar Komoni, is still part of our customer presentations because it represents a real industry challenge: his father-in-law worked in transportation, and was constantly on the phone managing logistics problems. Modern supply chain disruptions do not happen only during business hours, so companies need continuous support. Our optional 24/7 monitoring capabilities allow customers and their teams to have visibility and assistance whenever an issue occurs, helping them respond faster while maintaining operational continuity.

Q: What types of companies represent Tive’s main customer base?

A: Tive works with any company that needs real-time visibility included in its supply chain, whether logistics operations are managed internally or outsourced. Our customers include manufacturers, exporters, retailers, logistics service providers, transportation companies, security providers, perishables companies, pharmaceutical companies, and businesses handling high-value or temperature-sensitive products. While we support all four modes of transportation, including road, rail, air, and ocean, terrestrial transportation represents a significant part of our business due to the volume of trade between the United States and Mexico. Companies are increasingly looking for solutions that allow them to understand shipment conditions and locations in real time, enabling them to identify risks before they become larger operational problems.

Q: How is Tive applying AI to improve supply chain visibility and help customers predict disruptions?

A: AI and automation are helping Tive transform shipment visibility from a monitoring tool into a predictive solution. Over the last few years, global trade has become less predictable due to changes after COVID-19, geopolitical events, and increasing supply chain complexity. By combining real-time shipment data from more than 1,200 customers with our automation and AI capabilities, we can help identify risks before they become major disruptions. However, the quality of these automations and AI tools depends on the quality of the data it receives. By using reliable, fact-based shipment data, companies can detect patterns, calculate risks, and make more informed preventive decisions. This capability is also attracting industries such as insurance, where historical shipment data can help companies evaluate risk levels and create more accurate policies based on real-world conditions.

Q: What is Tive’s reach in Latin America, and which markets represent the company’s biggest growth opportunities?

A: Mexico is our main market in Latin America and, after the United States, it is one of Tive’s most important markets, even surpassing Canada in terms of opportunity. The growth of nearshoring in Mexico over the last three years has significantly increased demand for supply chain visibility solutions, especially as companies expand operations and develop new logistics corridors.

Beyond Mexico, Latin America represents a major opportunity, particularly in countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. These markets are evolving and increasingly adopting technologies that were previously concentrated in the United States and parts of the European Union. The main industries where we see strong potential are fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, and technology, especially where security, traceability, and real-time monitoring are critical.

Q: What are the main challenges and opportunities for supply chain visibility solutions in Mexico and Latin America?

A: The biggest opportunity is that companies are recognizing the importance of moving from reactive management to preventive decision-making through real-time shipment visibility. At the same time, the region still faces challenges related to security and technology adoption. In Mexico, supply chain uncertainty has increased the need for greater visibility because companies now operate in an environment where shipments can involve higher costs, more risks, and greater complexity.

Visibility is becoming relevant across more industries, including furniture, automotive, and manufacturing, because companies need to understand where their products and materials are at all times. By combining real-time tracking with analytics, automation, and AI, Tive helps companies optimize transportation methods, improve planning, reduce risks, and make operational decisions based on actual supply chain data.

Q: What visibility challenges still exist in the Mexico–US logistics corridor, particularly for sensitive industries such as pharmaceuticals?

A: One of the main challenges is not only cargo theft but also unauthorized access to shipments, including situations where goods are contaminated or altered during transportation. Some customers have detected unexpected route deviations and stops through our sensors, even near border crossings such as the Colombia Bridge between Mexico and the United States. In these cases, the risk is not necessarily losing the shipment but having external elements introduced into the cargo, which can create significant operational and reputational consequences.

The Tive solution enables companies to identify these events, react faster, and redesign security strategies. Some customers have also moved away from solutions such as remotely stopping engines because they prefer to maintain shipment visibility, coordinate response teams, and recover the cargo while using technology to support broader security strategies.

Q: How does Tive help companies manage uncertainty related to trade conditions and the USMCA review?

A: The main focus for companies is reducing risks and improving supply chain planning amid commercial uncertainty. When conditions change, businesses need to understand where their inventory is, whether it is raw material, components, or finished products, in order to make better decisions. For example, a manufacturer may have all the components needed to produce a product, but if one critical part is delayed, production can stop. Companies also need visibility to understand how potential tariff changes may affect material costs and logistics decisions. By providing real-time information on inventory and shipments, Tive helps companies gain greater control, improve forecasting, and adapt their supply chains to changing market conditions.

Q: How can Tive help companies address security risks and feel more confident when expanding into new markets?

A: Tive helps companies reduce security risks by providing real-time visibility into shipments, and by identifying situations that could affect product integrity, not only theft. For example, with temperature-sensitive products such as fresh produce, a shipment can lose value if the cold chain is interrupted, a route is altered, or the product arrives outside the required conditions. We have also helped customers recover millions of pesos in products by detecting irregularities and improving shipment monitoring. Beyond the financial impact, security incidents can affect brand reputation if stolen or improperly handled products reach consumers. By using our real-time trackers and conducting data analysis, companies can identify high-risk routes, optimize transportation strategies, and work with logistics partners to select safer routes and schedules.

Q: Which Tive services and industries have experienced the strongest growth in 2026, and what factors are driving demand?

A: Food and beverage continues to be one of our strongest industries, with significant growth coming from new manufacturers and suppliers that require greater visibility into their supply chains. The pharmaceutical sector has also experienced substantial expansion in Latin America, driven by the need for stricter monitoring and compliance with quality requirements. In this industry, our customer network has grown approximately 25%, as companies increasingly require real-time control of temperature, handling, and transportation conditions. Manufacturing in Mexico has also remained a key area of demand, particularly in electronics and high-value products, where security and traceability are essential. These industries continue to require visibility solutions because supply chains are becoming more complex and companies need better control over risks.

Q: What are Tive’s strategic priorities for the remainder of 2026, particularly regarding growth in Mexico and Latin America?

A: Our main priority is continuing to advance our platform through engineering investments and the integration of automation and AI to expand our capabilities. AI and automations enable us to identify opportunities for optimization, improve decision-making, and provide customers with more advanced supply chain insights. We are also strengthening our presence in Mexico and Latin America by expanding platform accessibility through additional languages, including Spanish, German, and French, with Portuguese development underway.

In addition, we are developing new trackers and solutions based on industry-specific needs, such as pharmaceutical requirements and new container security seals connected directly to our tracking technology. Our objective is to continue providing solutions that improve efficiency, reduce losses, and help companies manage supply chain challenges with greater visibility and confidence.
