DCL Logistics, a Fremont, California-based 3PL that provides ecommerce, B2B, and omnichannel fulfillment services for consumer brands, has acquired a 15,329m² Class A facility in Perris, California. This is its largest facility purchase to date and will allow the company to expand its Southern California footprint to more than 29,728m².

“Southern California continues to be a strategic location for our brands, with direct access to West Coast ports, Mexico, and one of the largest consumer markets in the country. By acquiring and owning our own facilities, we can control costs more effectively and provide brands with the long-term stability they need as they plan years ahead,” says Dave Tu, President, DCL Logistics.

The company says the expansion plan is designed to support rapidly rising demand from modern ecommerce and omnichannel brands, noting it has grown shipping volume by more than 300% since 2023. DCL counts brands such as Magic Spoon, Therabody, Aura Frame, Shokz, and Willow among its customer base. The company also reports a 63% YoY increase in orders shipped during the November–December 2025 peak season and a 46% increase in total orders shipped across 2025.

DCL frames the Perris acquisition as a response to an increasingly complex fulfillment environment, citing rising costs, tariff pressures, and changes to de minimis rules that can add friction to cross-border ecommerce flows.

“Our growth is not just about square footage, it is about giving our customers the flexibility and resilience to reach consumers wherever they shop. This new facility allows us to support their next stage of growth with the same high-touch model that has always set DCL apart,” says Brian Tu, Chief Revenue Officer, DCL Logistics.

The new Perris site will incorporate DCL’s latest automation and robotics capabilities, including expanded conveyance, narrow-aisle and inventory robotics, and AI-driven quality and error monitoring aimed at boosting throughput and accuracy. DCL also expects the facility to create more than 200 jobs.

DCL says the Perris expansion is part of a broader national growth plan, with larger footprints planned in Southern California as well as expansions in the Northeast and Louisville in 2026 and 2027. The company said these additions would bring its total footprint to over 100,000m² and strengthen coast-to-coast coverage for two-day ground delivery.

The region is seeing a surge of investment, both north and south of the border. Late last year, the Government of Baja California inaugurated the state’s first Strategic Customs Facility (RFE) in Tijuana, which was developed in partnership with BB Crossborder Logistics and Grupo Bustamante, reports MBN. “This Strategic Customs Facility is a motor that is driving Tijuana forward. Here, national and international companies can operate with their goods in a safe, flexible, and transparent framework backed by the Government of Mexico and the Government of Baja California,” says Governor of Baja California Marina del Pilar.
