Infinitum Copper reported the results of its exploration diamond drilling at the La Adelita project in Sonora and Sinaloa, highlighting that the project's mineralization potential is currently being confirmed. In addition, the company announced that it has already identified the new target areas for the next drilling campaign.

Infinitum's recent drilling campaign was targeted 11     0m south of previous drill holes AD-22-0017 and AD-22-0018. In both new drill holes, it was confirmed that the higher-grade copper-gold-silver mineralization is associated with magnetite. Rafael Gallardo, Senior Exploration Manager, Infinitum Copper, said this association is highly encouraging as it could be key to rapidly expand the district. Furthermore, the drilling campaign showed that the mineralization is open  along strike and to depth.

Among the  highlights of the campaign, drill hole AD-22-0019 showed a width of 32.25     m of pervasive-garnet-magnetite skarn grading 1.01 percent copper, 0.5g/t Au and 39.69 g/t silver, or 1.74 percent of copper equivalent starting only 36.65m down hole.     Meanwhile, drill hole AD-22-0020A encountered 19.30m true width, grading 0.54 percent  copper, 0.31 g/t gold and 23.28 g/t silver for an average of 0.97% CuEq.

“Now we have discovered that the western limb of the La Adelita Anticline is also strongly mineralized, and the axial plane in between lights up as a very strong conductor in our geophysical survey. The truly impressive scale of the high-grade La Adelita system is starting to be revealed. The higher gold values to the south and strong geophysical anomalies that are untested near surface and at depth give us a plethora of worthy targets, so we are full of anticipation for our next round of drilling,” said Steve Robertson, President and CEO, Infinitum Copper.

The company also announced that considering the geophysical survey completed in the spring, which revealed strong anomalies in the Cerro Grande and Pericos areas, a trail will be built to      access and drill the anomalies. In addition, the company highlighted that the combination of past and current results showed the scale of the district and its mineralized system, which is believed to be 10km from east to west and around 5km from north to south. This will be the company's next exploration target.
