LitioMx’s Budget Lacks Project Development Resources

State-owned lithium mining company LitioMx is expected to receive MX$13.9 million (US$747,528) for 2026, according to the Ministry of Finance (SHCP). The resources are destined for operational expenses, marking the third consecutive year without a specific line item for project investment. In other news, US-based Coeur Mining announced positive exploration results from its Las Chispas mine in Sonora. The company said these results are the highest-grade intercepts to date at the operation.
