Canada-based silver company Santacruz Silver Mining produced 3.74Moz AuEq in 4Q25, representing a 9% increase when compared to 3Q25. The company attributed the positive performance to its Bolivian operations, some of which recovered from a climate-related event.

Santacruz Silver Mining said this quarterly improvement was led by a recovery at the Bolivar mine in Bolivia and supported by performances at the Caballo Blanco, San Lucas operations in Bolivia, as well as in Zimapan in Mexico. Total consolidated production for the period included 1.34Moz of silver, 23,846t of zinc, 3,000t of lead, and 287t of copper. The company also completed 11,558m of underground development during the quarter.

AgEq production at the Bolivar mine rose 34% compared to 3Q25. This growth followed higher production throughput and improved operating conditions at the Pomabamba and Nane veins. The operation continues to recover from a flooding event in May 2025 that restricted access to certain mining areas. Arturo Préstamo, Executive Chair and CEO, Santacruz Silver Mining, stated that while access to high-grade areas remained partially constrained, month-over-month improvements were recorded. The company expects a full recovery from these areas by 4Q26.

In other regional operations, the Porco mine recorded a 10% increase in zinc production due to higher head grades, while silver output declined as mining prioritized zinc-rich zones. The Caballo Blanco Group saw a 3% increase in silver equivalent production, and the San Lucas Group reported an 11% rise in the same category.

In Mexico, the Zimapan recorded a 3% increase in AuEq production during 4Q25, reaching 1.017oz. While material processed remained stable at 222,703t, zinc production rose 6% to 5,008t, supported by a 6% improvement in metal recovery. Lead production also saw a 13% increase to 1,237t, driven by an 8% rise in head grades. On a year-to-date basis, the mine achieved a 5% increase in AgEq production compared to 2024, totaling 3,984,086oz, with zinc output rising 15% over the same period.

Santacruz Silver Commences Trading on Nasdaq

On Jan. 21, 2026, Santacruz Silver Mining’s common shares began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "SCZM". The company maintains its listings on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. With the commencement of Nasdaq trading, the company's shares have ceased being quoted on the OTCQX Best Market.

Préstamo participated in the Nasdaq Opening Bell Ceremony in New York to commemorate the listing. Préstamo noted that the move is intended to increase liquidity and attract a broader institutional investor base as part of the company’s 2026 growth strategy. “Entering the Nasdaq positions Santacruz to increase liquidity, attract a more diverse institutional investor base, and enhance visibility in key global markets. Most importantly, it demonstrates our ongoing commitment to creating long-term value for our shareholders as we continue to advance our operational and growth objectives in 2026,” Préstamo said.
