Sonoro Gold Corp reported that assay results from an additional 20 reverse-circulation drill holes at its Cerro Caliche project in Sonora include several of the best gold grade intercepts recorded to date at the property. Sonoro expects these results to contribute by establishing a significant addition to Cerro Caliche’s existing 201,000 AuEq inferred resource estimates.

Torex Gold Resources announced the appointment of Andrew Snowden as CFO effective in January 2021. Snowden is currently Senior Vice President and CFO at Sherritt International Corporation, a multinational mining company with primary operations in North America and the Caribbean.

Vizsla Resources provided the first results from the Aguita Zarca prospect at the Panuco silver-gold project. These results are from the first drillhole testing a series of closely-spaced veins in a new target area with oxidised mineralization almost from surface.

Reyna Silver has received drill permits for the Guigui Project in Chihuahua. The project is located in the heart of the Santa Eulalia Mining District, which has produced 510Moz of silver, 4.2MT of lead and 3.6MT of zinc, at average grades of 310g/t Ag, 8.2 percent Pb and 7.1 percent Zn.

Telson Mining started to transport ore from its Tahuehueto gold project in Durango to be processed at the Atocha toll plant, as part of a 3,500 ton toll campaign project.

Golden Minerals has received final environmental permits for its Rodeo gold-silver project in Durango. The company is on track to begin gold production in January 2021, which will mark the transition of Golden Minerals to gold producer from precious metals exploration company.

Endeavour Silver has expanded its Terronera project in Jalisco to 20,128ha. The company acquired two groups of mineral concessions, La Sanguijela and Cerro Gordo, which cover multiple mineralized vein structures.

Argonaut Gold announced that it has discovered four new high-grade zones below or adjacent to the planned open pit at its development-stage Magino property in Ontario. Since starting the exploration drilling program in July 2019, the company has completed 56 diamond drill holes and approximately 48,000m of drilling targeting high-grade mineralized structures at depth.

Peñoles, as part of a collaboration project with the Municipal Museum of Teloloapan, Guerrero,  presented an interactive infographic about minerals and the metallurgical mining process.

Fresnillo plc reforested 7ha in Caborca and its neighboring communities. This is part of a progam that has resulted in the planting of diverse flora such as fruit trees, cacti and other species such as mesquite, palo verde and palo fierro in more than 40ha over the past four years.
