In the second panel of the Mexico Mining Forum’s Day 2, stakeholders discussed how vision, leadership and skill can guide precious metals to success. “Mentoring is incredibly important. My decision making is influenced by people, including shareholders, communities and staff,” said Jason Simpson, CEO of Orla Mining. Additionally, Doug Ramshaw, CEO of Minera Alamos, added that a key attribute in terms of success and leadership is surrounding yourself with the right people. Ramshaw noted that working with a motivated group is not just a measure for success; it also makes work enjoyable.
