Global mobility platform inDrive inaugurated Casa inDrive in Mexico City, establishing its first physical driver support center in Mexico to address onboarding, technical support, and fleet financing needs. The expansion comes as the company surpassed 100 million completed trips in the first half of 2026 and secured formal regulatory registration with Querétaro's Mobility Agency (AMEQ). This hybrid operational model strengthens inDrive's competitive presence in Mexico’s urban transport sector by integrating in-person driver assistance, fintech partnerships, and local regulatory compliance.

US-based Ride-hailing and delivery platform inDrive announced the opening of Casa inDrive (inDrive House), a physical support and service center in Mexico City. The space was established to provide in-person assistance, account verification, technical support, driver training, and access to safety and loyalty programs for driver-partners using the application.

inDrive noted that the opening follows operational growth for the company in Mexico, where it surpassed 100 million completed trips in 1H26. inDrive House is projected to assist more than 5,000 drivers per month, complementing the company's digital channels with in-person operations in response to increased driver connection hours in the capital. On its official opening day, the hub received between 500 and 700 visiting driver-partners.

When questioned on why the company chose its location on Hamburgo Street in Colonia Juarez, Rafael Garza, General Director, inDrive Mexico, said it was due to the high concentration of ride-hailing traffic and rider demand in the area, allowing drivers to access support within their primary working zone in case of any incident.

According to inDrive, the center’s on-site assistance will focus primarily on three operational needs: onboarding and account activation for new drivers, document updates and vehicle changes, and direct resolution of trip-related queries or disputes.

Garza emphasized that the investment reflects the market's priority for the global platform. "Mexico is one of our most important markets, and we believe it holds significant potential for further growth. Over the past four years, we have impacted more than 10 million people in the country through a fair and transparent platform that allows drivers to generate higher earnings thanks to offering the most competitive commission rate in Mexico,” Garza stressed.

Diego Amezcua, Communications Manager for Mexico and Central America, inDrive, noted that Mexico accounts for more than 60 of the over 1,200 cities where the app operates globally. Amezcua added that the 10 million people impacted in the country encompass drivers, passengers, and beneficiaries of the company's local social initiatives. Amezcua also highlighted that while this marks inDrive's first physical driver support center in Mexico, the model builds on similar operational hubs established in international markets such as Pakistan, Nepal, Malaysia, South Africa, and Nigeria.

The location also includes a dedicated space for strategic partners, such as vehicle fleet company OCN, offering vehicle rental-to-own programs without credit bureau checks, guarantors, or high down payments to facilitate entry into the platform.

Garza stated that the initiative aims to facilitate access to the collaborative economy and vehicle options through strategic partnerships, expanding participation opportunities for drivers across the region.

In addition to onboarding services, the center integrates inDrive's driver-focused offerings, including its safety features, loyalty program, and commission structure. The facility forms part of the company's longer-term expansion strategy in Mexico as operational demand continues to grow.

inDrive Reaches 200 Million Trips in 2025

According to a 2025 Impact Report developed by inDrive in collaboration with the Mexican Internet Association (AIMX), the platform completed over 200 million trips in Mexico during 2025, representing an operational scale of more than 380 services per minute nationwide.

The study highlights that inDrive's operational footprint includes exclusive coverage in markets such as Playa del Carmen, where it serves as the sole mobility application available. The findings further indicate that the platform's Peer-to-Peer (P2P) negotiation model served as a primary entry point to digital transport, with 50.31% of surveyed passengers reporting that inDrive was their first experience using a ride-hailing application.

Regulatory Compliance Expands Footprint to Queretaro

Building on its national expansion strategy, inDrive secured its official registration as a Specialized Mobility Application Company with Queretaro’s Mobility Agency (AMEQ) on Aug. 10, 2026. The authorization establishes a formal legal framework for the platform to operate under local state regulations, reinforcing legal certainty and institutional collaboration with regional transport authorities, inDrive highlighted. "This registration reaffirms our commitment to complying with local regulations and offering a mobility alternative based on fair prices, safety, and freedom of choice," Garza stressed.
