Mexico Oil & Gas Summit 2022 ECHO to Discuss How Industry Evolves

Amid increasing oil prices and a business environment marked by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the most important leaders of the biggest oil companies in Mexico will join the Mexico Oil & Gas Summit 2022 ECHO (MOGS2022 ECHO) to discuss the challenges they are facing and how they are overcoming these problems.

The COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting supply chain challenges and the conflict in Ukraine are important factors impacting the industry today. Oil companies, like corporations of other sectors, have seen themselves forced to change the way they operate. Operators, service providers and investors have gone through a period of uncertainty but are now looking to ramp up activity.

Alfredo Álvarez, Energy Leader, EY Latin America North wrote in an article for MBN that most of the leading international and national oil companies are implementing corporate governance focused on sustainability, seeking a balance between business, environment and society. This is furthered in decision-making at the highest level.
