Shell, Iconn Enter Sale Agreement in Mexico

British oil and gas giant Shell has entered an agreement to sell its Mexican Shell Mobility brand and company to the Mexican service station company Iconn, pending regulatory review by the competent authorities. The company started the process of acquiring Shell Mobility’s Mexican portfolio. This includes gas stations, convenience stores, and Shell’s Shell Solutions fleet operations. The acquisition is estimated to take place in 3Q25 according to the memo, and it is intended to better position Iconn within the gas sector in the country.
