Wellness Bazaar. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced the start of the "Tianguis del Bienestar (Wellness Bazaar)" program. The objective of the program is to deliver confiscated merchandise to inhabitants of 70 extremely poor municipalities. "We have decided to deliver all these goods to the people, all that merchandise. We are going to clean out all the warehouses and we are going to deliver it to the people, the poor and we are already starting. The program is called Tianguis del Bienestar. It is going to poor municipalities and people are given clothes, footwear, toys for children, all of which are in the warehouses," said López Obrador. The program will initially cover 10 vulnerable municipalities in Guerrero and later continue in communities in Oaxaca, Chiapas and Veracruz.

Back to school. The president reiterated that the return to face-to-face classes is necessary and that all the necessary measures and protocols are being taken to guarantee the safety of the educational community. "It is very important to return to face-to-face classes because school is the second home, children, adolescents, want to return to classes, most parents also. We are going to take care of the girls and boys and there are sanitary measures, protocols that are going to be applied," said López Obrador. He added that to guarantee the quality of the facilities, the La Escuela es Nuestra (The School is Ours) program has provided support to 55,000 schools. The head of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Delfina Gómez Álvarez, added that the government has a constitutional obligation to provide quality education to children and young people to comply with this decree.
