Foreign Security Corps’ Regulation. President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that accredited foreign agents operating within the national territory must strictly comply with domestic national security laws. She specified that foreign personnel are legally prohibited from executing direct field operations, as tactical and territory-based security assignments remain the exclusive statutory prerogative of the Mexican Armed Forces, federal police forces, the National Guard (GN), and the Attorney General's Office of the Republic (FGR).

Unconventional Gas Working Group Assessment. President Sheinbaum reported that the Unconventional Gas Working Group is conducting technical evaluations to determine the operational viability of fracking within the country. The ongoing analytical framework managed by the designated specialists balances energy sovereignty, social justice, and the minimization of localized environmental impacts.

CFE Power Distribution Infrastructure Status. President Sheinbaum clarified that recent electricity service interruptions across specific regions do not constitute widespread generation blackouts, identifying the events purely as localized power distribution line faults. CFE maintains continuous technical response operations through its standard customer service lines to report localized infrastructure incidents and provide estimated recovery timelines to consumers.

National Inflation and Economic Growth Metrics. President Sheinbaum reported that data compiled by INEGI recorded a 0.22% reduction in national inflation during the first half of June 2026 compared to May. She highlighted that domestic economic growth accelerated during April 2026, offsetting the lower performance indicators recorded during 1Q26 international oil price volatility and external trade tariffs.

Renewable Energy Growth Plan. Minister of Energy Luz Elena González presented the operational targets of the Renewable Energy Growth Plan, which mandates a new total generation capacity of 32,475MW. Under this national infrastructure strategy, 70% of the newly deployed capacity, totaling 22,376 MW, will be derived from renewable and clean technologies, with the long-term target establishing that by 2030, 38% of all national power generation will originate from photovoltaic, eolian, hydroelectric, geothermal, and solar thermal sources.

Emilia Calleja, Director General, CFE, presented Proyecto Oasis, a specialized independent energy supply initiative designed to stabilize electricity infrastructure in Mulege, Baja California.

CONAVI Michoacan Housing Allocation. Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, Governor of Michoacan, and Rodrigo Chávez, Director General, National Housing Commission (CONAVI), led the initial property transfer of a 448-unit residential project at the Las Hortalizas housing complex under the auspices of the Plan Michoacán por la Paz y la Justicia (Plan Michoacan for Peace and Justice). The administrative entities confirmed that the total six-year state housing target increased from 42,000 to 82,000 total units, with current project completions reaching a 24% operational advance, representing 20,000 constructed homes.
