G20 Summit Attendance Evaluation. President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed receiving an official invitation to attend the upcoming G20 Summit in Miami, United States. Sheinbaum affirmed that Mexico will maintain official delegation representation at the international forum, while continuing to evaluate her personal attendance.

US-Mexico Presidential Relations. President Claudia Sheinbaum noted that executive teams maintain ongoing communication, confirming she has held 21 phone conversations with US President Donald Trump alongside recent in-person interactions during the World Cup. Sheinbaum stated that formal bilateral agenda goals proceed continuously through cabinet-level teams without requiring an immediate official summit.

National Tour Schedule for Second Government Report. Sheinbaum announced the schedule for her Second Government Report, which will commence with an official address in Mexico City on Sep. 1, 2026. Sheinbaum detailed that the address will be followed by a four-week national tour holding regional events across state capitals from Thursdays through Sundays, concluding with a public event at the Zocalo.

Economic Achievements in 1H26. President Claudia Sheinbaum presented economic performance figures for 1H26, confirming that Mexico registered US$34.968 billion in FDI. Sheinbaum highlighted that historic FDI, expanding employment metrics, and currency stability demonstrate that minimum wage increases have proceeded without causing inflation or weakening capital investment.

Environmental Justice Law Legislative Initiative. Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Alicia Barcena announced that the federal executive will submit the new Environmental Justice Law initiative to Congress. Barcena stated that the proposal restructures legacy development models to mandate comprehensive natural resource protection and community welfare safeguards 

Barcena presented the 10 core principles of the proposed Environmental Justice Law, detailing framework priorities focused on territorial management, community participation, and long-term conservation. Barcena noted that the initiative transitions national environmental strategy from reactive remediation toward preventive ecological protection and circular economy models.

Housing for Well-being Progress in Yucatan. Minister of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development Edna Vega reported a 66% goal completion rate under the Housing for Well-being Program in Yucatan.
