Oaxaca Regional Hospital Complex. President Claudia Sheinbaum announced the construction of a regional hospital complex in Nu Tata, Oaxaca, which will feature three facilities operated by the Institute for Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), and IMSS-Bienestar. The integrated complex will share services, incorporate over 700 beds, and serve patients across Oaxaca and parts of Puebla.

Impact of Digital Platforms on Youth. Minister of Education Mario Delgado stated that excessive mobile device and social media usage constitutes a public health issue due to addictive algorithmic design. NYU Professor Jonathan Haidt and digital security expert Arturo Bejar addressed the briefing, citing platform features such as infinite scroll, autoplay, and algorithmic recommendations as drivers of compulsive use, reduced attention spans, and lower academic performance among youth.

President Sheinbaum stated that discussions regarding mobile device usage among minors focus on collective regulation within schools rather than blanket prohibitions. Sheinbaum emphasized that policy responses must address the addictive nature of social media platforms while preserving the beneficial functions of mobile technology.

Recovery of Canal Once Facilities. Delgado reported the peaceful recovery of the Canal Once facilities following a multi-week occupation by IPN students. Delgado noted that dialogue failed to establish a connection between student demands and the network, prompting the recovery to protect broadcasting equipment and the channel's 70-year-old historical archive.

President Sheinbaum confirmed that prosecutors opened investigation files to determine legal responsibilities and assess potential damage to national assets following the occupation. Sheinbaum questioned the rationale behind targeting the broadcaster, noting that the remaining occupiers intended to block transmissions.

Oaxaca Teachers Union Meeting. President Sheinbaum clarified that an upcoming meeting with teachers in Oaxaca will involve representatives from Section 22 of the National Educational Workers Union (SNTE) rather than the National Coordinator of Educational Workers (CNTE). Sheinbaum noted that officials from the Ministry of Interior (SEGOB) and the Ministry of Education (SEP) will join the session to address state-specific demands, including agreements on new teaching positions.
