Tabasco. Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), Luis Cresencio Sandoval, reported that crime rate in the state of Tabasco is decreasing.

During a press conference, the official pointed out that the only crimes that have not seen a change in national level fluctuations are transportation robbery and human trafficking, which rank 23 and 28 respectively.

The municipalities of Centro, Cárdenas, Huimanguillo, and Comalcalco account for 73% of intentional homicides, vehicle theft, and drug dealing, said Cresencio Sandoval.

The data presented by Cresencio Sandoval corresponds to January 2023, considered the most up-to-date information available.

PAN voted against social programs. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador considered it necessary that the public be aware that the National Action Party (PAN) voted against establishing social supports in the Constitution and therefore they should not ever dream of returning to power.

During the morning conference held in Villahermosa, Tabasco, the president expressed his confidence that whoever becomes president after his term ends will continue to push forward the projects that remain pending, because the opposition lacks empathy for the people
