Meta Judicial Ruling. President Sheinbaum highlighted a legal ruling in the United States against Meta Platforms, which mandates parental controls and financial compensation stemming from platform design features and algorithms that induce digital addiction among minors. Sheinbaum noted that the outcome reinforces domestic considerations regarding cell phone usage restrictions in educational institutions.

Ayotzinapa Investigation Report. President Sheinbaum announced that she will request a public status report from FGR ahead of the 12th anniversary of the disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students. Sheinbaum noted that recent analysis of telecommunications data from the night of the incident enabled investigators to identify new leads and execute recent detentions.

TEPJF Upholds Restrictions Against Somos Mexico Party. President Claudia Sheinbaum endorsed a ruling by the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judicial Branch (TEPJF) directing the political organization Somos Mexico (We Are Mexico) to modify its name, logo, and color scheme. The decision affirms an initial directive by the National Electoral Institute (INE) prohibiting political parties from appropriating national identifiers or official electoral agency branding.
