President Sheinbaum to Hold a Call With Donald Trump. President Sheinbaum confirmed that she will soon hold a call with US President Donald Trump to discuss the shared agenda, emphasizing that despite occasional disagreements, the relationship remains strong and cooperative. She clarified that sensitive legal matters, such as the US Department of Justice accusations against Rubén Rocha, will be handled strictly through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and the US Embassy, rather than via direct presidential calls. 

Review of Mexican Consulates in the United States. President Sheinbaum firmly rejected claims that Mexican consulates in the United States are engaging in political activities against the government of Donald Trump. She said that their sole purpose is to provide legal protection and administrative services to Mexican citizens.
She also noted that there is no uncertainty regarding remittances, as higher totals reflect confidence in the bilateral link, and added that fewer Mexicans are seeking to build lives abroad as domestic opportunities grow.

Economic Impact of the Mexican Diaspora. Ana Valdez, Director, Latino Donor Collaborative (LDC), presented data debunking common myths about Mexicans in the United States. Out of the 38 million people of Mexican origin in the United States, 90% have legal status or are citizens by birth. This demographic contributes US$2.3 trillion to the US GDP and generates US$1.5 trillion in domestic consumption, which she said, highlights the success story of the cross-border community.

Humanitarian Support for Gaza Flotilla. Following the interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla by Israeli forces, President Sheinbaum reiterated Mexico's recognition of the State of Palestine. She instructed Minister of Foreign Affairs Roberto Velasco to maintain constant contact with the families of the Mexican activists involved. She expressed her willingness to meet with the families personally to ensure the protection of Mexican nationals providing humanitarian aid in conflict zones.

School Holidays Adjustment for FIFA World Cup. President Sheinbaum clarified that the proposal to adjust school holidays for the 2026 World Cup and extreme heat originated from state-level education secretaries rather than Mario Delgado. The final calendar is still under review to ensure children fulfill their required school days.
