Isuzu has launched its Environmental Mission 2050, a global strategy outlining long-term goals to transform the relationship between transportation and the environment. The initiative aims for zero greenhouse gas emissions, 100% recyclability of vehicles and materials, responsible operations, and biodiversity protection.

To progress toward this vision, the company has established intermediate targets through its 2030 Environmental Roadmap. These include a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared with 2013 levels and the initiation of mass production of light electric vehicles, supporting the development of emission-free mobility.

In Mexico, all vehicles currently marketed by Isuzu comply with Euro VI emissions standards, among the strictest international benchmarks for emission control. According to the company, these standards not only align with its environmental commitments but also provide customers with cleaner and more efficient transportation options.

Isuzu emphasized that every technological innovation and process improvement is part of its effort to achieve measurable environmental outcomes across all markets. The company frames its 2050 vision as a comprehensive sustainability approach that extends beyond mobility, aiming to minimize environmental impact at every stage of production and use.
