Qualitas reached over 1 million people through financial education and insurance awareness initiatives in 2025 as part of its strategy to promote safer mobility and strengthen Mexico's insurance culture. The company also advanced its ESG agenda while maintaining its leadership in Mexico's auto insurance market, where seven out of 10 vehicles remain uninsured.
According to its 2025 Integrated Annual Report, Qualitas aligned its initiatives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting policyholders, employees, agents, business partners and communities across Mexico, the United States, and Latin America. "A very important part of our commitment is encouraging society to value protection before an unexpected event occurs. I am confident in our ability to continue driving sustainable and profitable growth while generating value for all our stakeholders," says José Antonio Correa, Chairman of the Board, Qualitas.
Road Safety and Insurance Awareness
The insurer reported that its financial education and insurance awareness programs reached more than 1.4 million people during 2025, supporting efforts to expand insurance adoption in a market where uninsured vehicles remain the majority.
Road safety remains a central component of Qualitas' prevention strategy. Through its Conducta Vial Qualitas (CVQ) campaign, which has operated for more than a decade, the company provides free educational content and training for drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists, and commercial transport operators to promote safer driving practices.
Through its Risk Prevention division, the company delivered more than 5,000 training sessions during 2025, benefiting over 100,000 transport operators. They also installed more than 9,000 telematics devices across commercial fleets to analyze driving behavior, identify operational risks and develop data-driven accident prevention strategies.
Advancing Sustainable Operations and Community Investment
Qualitas also expanded initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its operations through more efficient water and energy use, waste management programs, solar panels and energy-efficient lighting. The company reported that 49% of its Qualicoches (Qualicars) fleet now consists of hybrid and electric vehicles, reducing emissions generated by its operations.
Another key initiative is Ajuste Digital (Digital Adjustment), a remote claims management platform that allows adjusters to process claims without traveling to accident sites. More than 31% of claims are now handled digitally, reducing travel time, operational costs and emissions.
As part of its social investment strategy, Qualitas allocated more than MX$32 million to 89 civil society organizations supporting projects in healthcare, education, environmental protection, and productive development, benefiting more than 26,000 people during 2025.Its corporate social responsibility campaign, Qualitas con México, juntos cambiando vidas (Qualitas in Mexico, together we save lives), also continued to mobilize employees, agents, suppliers, and the public, raising more than MX$15 million.
Financial Performance
Qualitas closed 2025 with more than MX$75 billion in written premiums, representing 9.4% annual growth. The insurer surpassed 6 million insured vehicles and maintained a 33.9% market share in Mexico, extending its leadership in the country's auto insurance market to 19 consecutive years.
"We have been Mexico's leading auto insurer for 19 years. What truly differentiates us is our excellence in service and our ability to respond when people need us most. Our service network, infrastructure and talent allow us to support millions of drivers every day," Correa says.
The company said its strategy combines prevention, innovation and sustainability to strengthen a more resilient insurance industry while generating long-term value for customers, communities, and the markets where it operates.
