The Communication Council is launching a national internal communication campaign aimed at strengthening employee engagement with the mission and values of their organizations. Titled “Behind your life, there are companies. And behind our company, there is all of us,” the initiative encourages employees to act as ambassadors for their companies’ roles in everyday life and national development.

The campaign was introduced during the “Behind your life, there are companies. And behind the success of this campaign, there is you: Be the voice of your company” event, which brought together business leaders and specialists in internal communication and marketing. The gathering emphasized the strategic importance of internal communication in reinforcing organizational identity, which is how employees perceive and relate to their company’s values, culture, and shared mission.

According to an analysis of the national economic landscape, 82% of companies investing in innovation have reported increased productivity, says Alejandro Saldaña, Chief Economist, Bx+. He urges businesses to embrace bold, innovation-driven strategies, emphasizing that organizations that focus on continuous transformation have achieved annual revenue growth of up to 30%.

“When companies innovate and strive to be more competitive, they drive the country's economic development. Now more than ever, their strategic role is key to building a Mexico with more opportunities for everyone,” says Saldaña. Most companies identify innovation as the leading strategy for capturing growth opportunities and navigating uncertainty, reads a recent survey by McKinsey.

Speakers at the event stressed that in a dynamic and evolving economy, businesses must position themselves as agents of sustainable growth, job creation, and personal and professional development for employees.

According to the OPEC Fund for International Development, by providing funding for business ventures and innovation, private companies promote economic independence, attract further investment, generate employment, and fuel national growth. The Communication Council’s campaign seeks to place internal communication at the heart of this mission, empowering employees to see themselves as essential contributors to their organization’s success and, by extension, to the country’s development.
