Horton International, a global leader in executive search and talent management solutions, has strategically merged with Atabay Consulting, thereby marking the company’s official expansion into Mexico and the North American talent solutions market.

“At Horton International we have been consistently working on building our leadership team, our service offering and our global presence. This merger is yet another step in strengthening our offering for our regional and global clients,” said Maneesh Ajmani, Chairman of the Board, Horton International.

Even before establishing a physical presence in Mexico, Horton International was already operational in several markets throughout Latin America. The company conducted several recruitment campaigns for high-profile positions and senior level assignments for global enterprises including Nike, PepsiCo, Samsung, Scotiabank, Sony, Visa and Volvo. Nevertheless, the company found it crucial to establish a physical presence to be closer and more accessible to their clients.

“[Atabay Consulting] is perfectly placed to assist us in performing impeccable search processes and consistently surpassing clients’ expectations. Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean have long needed an executive search company offering just that, and we are now able to offer this through Horton International Mexico. We could not be prouder to be a part of this successful growth story,” said Guillermo Cepeda, Partner, Horton International Mexico.

Headquartered in Mexico City, Atabay Consulting, a regional specialist in executive searches throughout Latin America will play an instrumental role in getting Horton International’s Mexican team up to speed on cultural and bureaucratic nuances while supporting the company’s efforts to expand their physical presence into adjacent economies. Working side by side, the companies are committed to positively impact the local community, acting as mentors to entrepreneurs and non-profits and sitting on the board of various corporate and charitable organizations.

In Mexico, Horton International will be able to capitalize from a growing demand for talent solutions being fueled by compliance requirements outlined in the recently passed outsourcing law. The company will also be able to meet US companies’ nearshoring demands, address expansion efforts from MNCs and fulfill a growing domestic demand.
